Thanks for your interest in volunteering! Give back to the community by supporting recreational events, get involved and meet friends, or support a friend who is racing. Volunteers receive a free race shirt, post-race buffet and $25 (up to $50 for longer shifts) off a future Michigan Adventure Racing for themselves or an immediate family member.

Volunteers can help for the entire race or in shifts. Likely shifts are listed below and on the Register page. You may select more than one shift/role if you don’t have a preference. Indicate if you have medical/first responder training. Email us if you have questions.

• Bike staging, paddle take-out (5:15-11:15 am)
• Check-in, paddle put-in (5:45-9:30 am)
• Transition area -12 hr race (late morning to last time or 7:15 pm)
• Paddle support for 7-hr race, scoring (12:00-8:00 pm)
• Scoring, food, clean-up (6:00-9:30 pm)
