Thanks for your interest in volunteering at the Manistee National Forest Edition at Caberfae Peaks Resort! Give back to the community by supporting recreational events, get involved and meet friends, or support a friend who is racing. Volunteers receive a free race shirt (or pint or buff), $10/hour off a future race, and the post-race banquet meal. We will reimburse you for mileage up to roughly 150 miles.
We have two primary roles in need of filling. They can be done by one person or a couple.
1. Transition Area monitor watching bikes while racers trek/orienteer or paddle. There’s a bathroom at the paddle section but not the trekking section.
2. Recording finisher times and scoring racers’ scorecards known as “passports”
