Ludington Edition: September 20, 2025

Pay for your canoe(s) or kayak(s) – if needed – during registration. You may bring your own. 

You can register and pay for the entire team or provide your teammates’ email addresses and BikeReg will email them to request payment, contact information, shirt size, waiver, etc. The team is not official until all of this is complete.

Discounts

• $40 off kids 17 and under (with paid adult entry). One youth: youth40d.
  Two youth: youth80d. Contact us if more than two youth.
• $10 off military service (past or present), fire, EMT, and police, with code protectandserveAR10d. Contact us if this applies to multiple teammates.
• Referral bonus. $15 off your team entry if you get a 2-4 person team new to Michigan Adventure Race to register.

REGISTRATION CHANGES

We recommend establishing a BikeReg/Outside account for future races. If you need to make a change and don’t have the account information, you can change registration information here.

If You Have to Cancel

Email us if you need to cancel.

• If 60 days or more, let us know which option you prefer. See below.
• Credits and refunds do not include registration fees which are charged by BikeReg registration company.
• Race credits are good until the end of the following calendar year.
• Refunds are available in the case of a death in the family, military duty, or significant financial hardship such as a lost job or major medical expense.
• Refunds are available on merchandise you purchased except for the dated race shirt if it has already been ordered (two weeks before the race). You may pick up your race shirt at the race. We will not ship it to you.
• If you take a credit/cash refund or don’t show up at the race, you forfeit your right to the free stuff (swag). We sell remaining swag to late registrants who did not get it or give it away to volunteers.
• If you purchased race insurance (e.g., Allianz Registration Protection via RunReg), contact them to inquire about possible reimbursement.

60 days out or more: 100% cash back with $10 per person administrative fee OR 100% credit
30-60 days out: 60% cash back OR 80% credit
15-30 days out: 40% cash back OR 60% credit
6-14 days out: 50% credit (ends Sunday at midnight of race week)
Week of race: no credit except for special circumstances.

If the Race Has to Cancel/Reschedule

• We will race as long as the weather is not deemed severe. Race organizers reserve the right to cancel the event in the case of extended severe weather. We will do everything possible to get the event in, but refunds are not available if it is cancelled due to significant costs we must pay in advance of the race as well as lost wages. We would provide you a partial credit for a future race. If we are able to reschedule the event, no refunds are available. You can either transfer your entry to another team (or individual if part of your team can race) or take the partial credit. Our backup day for the Ludington Edition is Sunday, September 20.

Team Edits

If you created an account. Find the link in your email confirmation or sign in to your registration. Click on Edit link to the right of My Upcoming Events. Make the edits.

If you did not create an account. Go to the registration page and click “Contact Event” under the event name. Click on the Trying to Edit green box. On the next page, enter the email address that was used to register. An email will be sent to that address with a link to the page where edits and transfers can be made.

Add a Teammate

You can add a person to your team (or replace a teammate) by selecting the Join an Existing Team below the other registration options. Once complete, you must email us and we’ll merge the new person into the existing team and change your division if applicable.

You must email us (rather than use the BikeReg transfer process) if you want to make a change after registration closes (allowed right up until the start of the race, but the sooner the better).

The BikeReg system can’t do transfers for team events so if you are looking to transfer in or out, please email us.
