Registration for the October 6, 2018 race will likely open in May.

Here’s what you need to register.

  • Teammate(s) (two-person AND three-person) and team name.
  • Credit card. Sorry, online only.
  • Race shirt size for you and your teammate.
  • Emergency contacts and any pertinent medical information for you and your teammate.
  • Age limits: 13 years+ can do the full course (bike and on foot) with a parent up until age 18. Kids under 13 can do the on-foot course with a parent.

Entry Fee
On a per-hour basis, the ArtPrize Edition is one of the least expensive races in Michigan.
Early (until 7/1/17): $74 per person, includes lunch, shirt.
Regular (7/1-10/1/17): $79 per person, includes lunch, shirt.
Late (10/2-10/4/17): $84 per person, includes lunch and pint or buff (but not shirt)

Family: children 12 and under race free (on foot course only; approximately 2-3 hours) with any two-person adult entry with at least one parent/guardian. We’ll also knock $39 off the price of one of the adults so the family entry would be $119 instead of $158. (Single parent? Contact us for a discount) Add shirt for $15 per child. Lunch for kids is free. Sign up as a two-person team (not including child 12 and under) with the word “family” behind an adult’s name and kids’ names behind other adult’s name. Just sign a waiver for your kid(s) at check-in.

REGISTRATION CHANGES

Transfers & Edits
If you created an account. Find the link in your email confirmation or sign in to your registration (if you registered last year under our old Snap system, contact us). Click on Transfer to the right of My Upcoming Events. Enter in the email address of the person receiving the transfer and click the button again. Once the email has been sent, the person receiving the transfer will need to go through the checkout process to receive the transferred registration, even though there is no charge. Once the transfer is successful the original participant will receive a confirmation email.

If you did not created an account. Go to the registration page and click “Contact Event” under the event name. Click on the Trying to Edit or Transfer Your Entry green box. On the next page, enter the email address that was used to register. An email will be sent to that address with a link to the page where edits and transfers can be made.

You must email us if you are transferring after registration closes (after Wednesday or Thursday of race week). We would much prefer to handle transfers by midnight Wednesday if at all possible.

Deferments/Credits
You may defer your “base” race entry fee to next year’s race minus a $25 fee if you contact us by the Sunday before race day. The registration system will provide a credit code for a future race. We can fully refund any shirt or other merchandise purchases as well if done by that Sunday.

Full refunds are available in the case of a death in the family or military duty.
