Entry Fee
On a per-hour basis, the ArtPrize Edition is one of the least expensive races in Michigan.

  • Families: kids entry includes pint or headwear. Add shirt for $10 each. Lunch for kids is free. Must still be registration/credit card fees.
  • Age limits: 13 years+ can do the full course (bike and on foot) with a parent up until age 18. Kids under 13 can do the on-foot course with a parent.
  • If you are serving or have served in the military, email us dates and location of service for a 5% off discount code.



Transfers & Edits
If you created an account. Find the link in your email confirmation or sign in to your registration (if you registered last year under our old Snap system, contact us). Click on Transfer to the right of My Upcoming Events. Enter in the email address of the person receiving the transfer and click the button again. Once the email has been sent, the person receiving the transfer will need to go through the checkout process to receive the transferred registration, even though there is no charge. Once the transfer is successful the original participant will receive a confirmation email.

If you did not created an account. Go to the registration page and click “Contact Event” under the event name. Click on the Trying to Edit or Transfer Your Entry green box. On the next page, enter the email address that was used to register. An email will be sent to that address with a link to the page where edits and transfers can be made.

You must email us if you are transferring after registration closes (after Wednesday or Thursday of race week). We would much prefer to handle transfers by midnight Wednesday if at all possible.

You may defer your “base” race entry fee to next year’s race minus a $35 fee if you contact us by the Sunday before race day. The registration system will provide a credit code for a future race. We can fully refund any shirt or other merchandise purchases as well if done by that Sunday.

Full refunds are available in the case of a death in the family or military duty.

Event Cancellation Policy
Race organizers reserve the right to cancel the event in the case of extended severe weather or other emergency. We will do everything possible to get the event in, but full refunds are not available if it is cancelled due to significant costs we must pay in advance of the race (e.g., insurance, permits, vendor deposits, advertising, graphic design, etc.) along with hundreds of hours of planning. If possible, we will reschedule rather than cancel the race. If it is cancelled or you cannot attend on the rescheduled date, we will provide a partial credit that can be used for any Michigan Adventure Race, Coast to Coast Gravel Grinder or Lord of the Springs this year or next, ending on Dec. 31 of the second year.

In the event of a thunderstorm, we will postpone the race until conditions improve. Extended severe weather may result in cancellation of the event.
